Indiana Wants Me...and Unlike R. Dean Taylor...I Can Go Back There

It's official: we're going to Indiana University to study political philosophy (secondary field in comparative politics), minor in Eastern European or religious studies. I'll be studying identity formation, the development of civil religion (i.e., how we develop loyalty to the state and the benefits and problems of it), and church-state relations. IU has the best Romanian program... and is paying a lot... and... the grandmas can tell you who scored the most points in any NCAA basketball championship game (go watch Hoosiers for a refresher course on how much they like their b-ball)... and... the state is responsible for two of the best movies of all time (Rudy is the other one)... and... they don't have to irrigate--lots of trees (Holly gets to climb trees instead of mountains...she thinks she'll handle the trade-off). And... yeah. We're excited. JIII
